ENEOS Holdings announced on January 13 that it will conduct a demonstration experiment to provide a sharing service of a drone aircraft starting with service station (SS) with Sensin Robotics and Tsuneishi C Value. The SS "Dr.Drive Self Fukuyama Daimon" in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture will be the base of drone management and charging, and the staff of the SS will be in charge of renting and returning the aircraft. The sharing service of drones starting with SS is the first initiative in Japan. In addition, a demonstration experiment will be conducted to provide a solar power generation equipment inspection service using drones assuming companies and general customers located near the SS. Develop drone -related services using SS networks from all over the country, which are assets of ENEOS Group. We will investigate the needs of services through demonstration experiments and understand the issues related to operations and businessability. The demonstration will be positioned as the first step in building a base to provide various services with drones, and aims to commercialize service after 2022.
