The Tokyo Metropolitan Government started offering the "TOKYO Vaccination App" using LINE from November 1st to promote the new corona vaccination. In addition to registering vaccination records and using your smartphone as a vaccination certificate, you can also apply for benefits from sponsor companies from the app.
"Vaccine" is a coined word that combines vaccine and action (behavior), and the official website of TOKYO Vaccine provides information on vaccines and precautions regarding inoculation. As stated on the website, "Young people need positive action," it is basically a measure to "promote youth vaccination." However, the vaccination rate for young people is increasing, and we plan to play a role as a vaccine passport (vaccination certificate) for using facilities in Tokyo as well as promoting vaccination.
We tried this "TOKYO Vaccine App" and talked to the Bureau of Social Welfare, Tokyo about this measure. For the time being, the registration of the vaccination certificate is limited to the citizens of Tokyo, but it is planned to be open to the citizens of other prefectures in the future.
