Many companies are required to put the idea of SDGs, which has vowed to "leave no one behind" on the earth, at the center of the business and change the way the business should be.
SDGs are an abbreviation for "Sustainable Development Goals" and were adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015. By 2030, 193 UN member countries including Japan will have "1. Poverty." It has been agreed to achieve 17 goals starting with "Let's get rid of" and "2. Zero hunger" and 169 target goals.
Depending on your perspective, you may think that some of these goals and targets are already being addressed in each company's existing business areas. However, in order to realize the SDGs worldwide by 2030, instead of thinking by extending the efforts so far, we put the idea of SDGs at the center of our business and seriously aimed at solving all problems. Efforts are needed.
In order to realize the SDGs, it is necessary to clarify the issues at the global, national and regional levels related to the business domain of the company, and to consider drastic changes to these issues. In order to bring about this transformation, it is expected to create new business areas by combining the transformation of technologies and social systems such as ICT and advanced technology.
