The Japan Adult VR Promotion Organization and the Adult VR Festa Executive Committee held an adult VR experience-based event "Adult VR Festa 01" on June 12 in Akihabara, Tokyo.
In March of this year, I published an article entitled "What is the compatibility between VR and adult content? Verify the possibility!", But to be honest, the content is undeniably simmering. I didn't verify it using Oculus etc., so I couldn't judge whether there was a possibility of VR for adults. This is a great opportunity to experience the latest services of each company. I went to the interview with joy and courage. By the way, the venue this time was the AKIBA POP: DOJO event space in Akihabara. It is the 4th floor of the building where Toranoana Akihabara store C is located. The general opening was from 14:00 to 19:00, but when we checked the situation in front of the building around 13:00, there was already a line of people waiting for the opening. After that, people who wanted to visit the venue gathered one after another, and eventually it became overcrowded, so it seems that some people could not enter. I'm sorry for those who couldn't participate, but the response far exceeded the expectations of the organizer, which is a testament to the high potential of VR content for adults. The organizer has announced that it will be held at a large venue next August. Fortunately, we, the interview team, were able to actually try out various VR technologies and contents for adults. However, because of the nature of this site, many of the photographs are too radical, so I would like to convey the pattern while using the quiet ones. ■ Virtual experience of 60km / h = D cup theory! Now, let's start with the lightest one. If you are interested in this kind of story, you may have heard that the wind pressure of 60km / h is equivalent to the D cup. "D = 60" reproduces this with VR (?) Technology. This is "D = 60" at first glance, it's just a cardboard box, and it's just a round hole hollowed out, but the technology it's equipped with is quite high-tech (dead language). Leap motion is installed in the cardboard, and it recognizes the direction, angle, movement, etc. of the arm or hand thrust through the hole in real time. Along with that, the blower blows out the wind, giving you the feeling of actually rubbing. When I actually tried it, it was a fact that my brain sensed the feeling that I was rubbing something soft, regardless of whether it was a D cup or not. It's a pity that it's only tactile and not synchronized with sight and hearing, but if you combine it with VR goggles that I will introduce later, you can expect a further leap forward. Ono, the editorial department who actually tries "D = 60". "Oh? This is pretty ..." ■ The beautiful girl characters that were overlaid on the live-action film were followed by a circle that used a little rugged (rude) VR goggles. Nothing is placed on the table, but if you put on these VR goggles, a 3D character (confusing) of a 2D character will be displayed superimposed on the surrounding image. It is a demonstration with a high AR element. The main theme of the demo is that you can enjoy various things with your fingers or sticks, as you can see the 2D character that overlaps with the actual scenery. It is also possible to use stick-shaped objects, and there is also a rubber model in the shape of a woman's chest, only that part is a live-action film, and other than that, I was able to experience a demo called a CG character. In other words, if you touch the chest of the CG character looking through the goggles with your hand close to it, you will get a feeling close to the real thing. The developer was proud to say, "I think I can think of it, but it's a method that hasn't been done much before." Frankly speaking, the degree of perfection of CG is not so high, and there are many parts where the composition of CG and live-action film is not working well. However, since the iPhone was in the VR goggles, I have a feeling that it would be a lot of fun if this idea could be realized with higher-end devices. ■ When you touch the beautiful girl character, the reaction responds accordingly ... In the next demo, when you put on Oculus, the room with the beautiful girl anime character expanded in front of you. You can look up, down, left and right freely. This is no different from ordinary VR content, but what this system devised was that it provided the feeling of touching a beautiful girl as a simulated experience through Leap Motion. Attaching Leap Motion to Oculus When you attach it to your head, a room with a beautiful girl appears. When you stroke the head of a moody beautiful girl character and comfort it, the girl smiles happily. By the way, if you touch other places, you will get feedback from the anime character. This is a beautiful girl character. Stroking her head makes me happy. It was fun and I kept touching it, and maybe I finally decided to forgive her, the girl lay down on the bed. If this happens, I have no choice but to touch her with both hands. The demo ends at that point. It was a good demonstration that I would like to experience from here onwards. According to the editorial department Kazama developer who starts to touch seriously, it actually has a voice recognition function, and it seems that it has already implemented a function that the story branches when answering a girl's question with a voice. .. I couldn't experience this voice recognition function due to the bad internet environment at the venue on the day, but I would definitely like to try it if I have the opportunity to experience it next time. ■ A masterpiece of reality, a demo performed by Adult Festa TV By the way, the most impressive demo in the venue was the demo performed by "Adult Festa TV" on Oculus. As I mentioned in my previous report, I've seen videos using cardboard-type VR goggles using the iPhone. The video that Adult Festa TV showed in the demo this time is basically the same, and it is a subjective video. However, as expected, Oculus. In a scene where a woman rides on her, she really feels as if it were in front of her. To be clear, it's not comparable to what I've experienced on my iPhone + Google cardboard before. Of course, the know-how of content production may be high. This is amazing! When I displayed the image that I was actually seeing on my PC, the screen was quite blurred because I experienced it with the naked eye because my glasses did not fit into Oculus well. Still, it is a quality that can be asserted as "This is really amazing!" If I'm thinking about buying contact lenses just for this reason, will the impact I received be transmitted? In addition, there is a scene where something is done at the bottom when the viewpoint is turned down while standing, but Ono who accompanied him said, "The seamless feeling when looking down is not serious." It seemed unusually excited. The content of Adult Festa TV is compatible with "+ 1D". + 1D, that is, one more dimension. If you are interested in what dimension will increase and what will happen, please check it out.
