Responsible for UAV shooting, school operation, UAV business consulting and other work of the UAV frontier (Tokyo Arakawa District). At present, with about 130 overhauls and a total of about 400 school participants every year, it continues to grow as the leading professional enterprise of drones in China. The affinity between the construction and decoration industry and drones has also received great attention, and we asked the representative of Masahiko Fukawa, who initiated the cause, about his ideas on service and prospects for the future.
[hearer / Minister of Information Yoshiki Fukuda]
The application of drones is also gradually infiltrating in the construction industry. I heard that the inspection is being carried out.
As a process, we skip the drones, shoot and analyze the data. At first, it was just shooting, and the analysis was outsourced, but now even the analysis is carried out consistently. The UAV exterior wall survey is only about a few% of the total, but as long as the accuracy of the analysis is guaranteed, the UAV is much faster and less efficient.
Will it be replaced by drone inspection in the future?
The most important thing is that there is no need to assemble scaffolding. For example, the analysis of the tower apartment takes some time, but if it is just a live shoot, the day is over. In the case of a comprehensive investigation, there are great benefits in terms of time and cost.
Internalization of data analysis during exterior wall inspection
-- what kind of opportunity did the drone cause take to accomplish it?
Before I started my business, I ran a cleaning company. I have a younger friend who works in a real estate company and is responsible for finding a real estate agent for customers of drone school driving ranges. After listening to these words, I learned that there are a lot of commercially active scenes of drones. It's interesting. I started a company with him.
-- wasn't it difficult to get on the right track?
Not to mention drones, there is no knowledge about aerial photography, so you have to learn (laugh) first. It is intuitive to assume that the active scene of drones will increase because it can be checked in places that people cannot enter, but there was no market at all five years ago. From the very beginning, I wanted to carry out the inspection of the use of drones and infrared investigation. In short, I started aerial photography and lectures.
How long does the demand begin?
Start around 2018 in your second year of business. Wholeheartedly did a variety of learning and empirical experiments, have quite a lot of UAV know-how, so in venture enterprises and other UAV industry, we can cooperate with design firms and construction companies to carry out empirical experiments. It has studied various fields such as agriculture, disaster countermeasures, wildlife countermeasures and so on, and narrowed down to the UAV solution of the construction industry. In February 2019, I signed a disaster agreement with Zuli District, and since then, the performance has increased.
As a new business, the roof inspection software "Roof is you" was developed.
The function of taking a picture from the top of the roof and measuring one side of the eaves can calculate the roof area and operate a simple application. With regard to slope, it has indexing function if taken from the side, it can be measured, and the size, slope and area can be simply measured. From here to March with the joint venture to test, if possible, I hope to be able to provide around May.
Demand in the construction industry also seems to be high.
We drive our own drones, do not have to climb to the roof to complete a certain degree of business, lower the threshold for introduction, low price, this is our idea. Even if there are drones, there are many companies that do not use them, in which case there is no need to introduce fees. Companies that start from scratch will be very supportive from the beginning of drone lectures, because it is a quota APP that can start to exit at any time, so there is no reason not to get in.
Horizontal deployment by providing UAV photography and inspection skills. The idea for the future is.
Whether it's inspections, lectures, or applications, they don't provide these tips to end, but want to follow up, improve the efficiency of customers and the industry as a whole, and brush their teeth. I think that's a shortcut to increase sales. Moreover, what we want is the accumulation of data. I hope to use them to create new value.
