From the 19th, the Kumamoto Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kumamoto City Central Shopping District Federation Council, and NTT West Kumamoto Branch will hold a video event “Machinaka xR” that utilizes advanced technology at the Kumamoto City Central Shopping District and Kumamoto Castle. Start a museum. Digital images of whales and Kumamon swimming around the city appear in various places, aiming to create a lively atmosphere.
xR is a general term for cutting-edge technologies such as MR (Mixed Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality). The exhibition will be held until May 22, in line with the National Urban Greening Fair (Kumamoto Flower Expo) that will start on the same day.
QR codes are placed in a total of 8 locations, including arcades in Kamitori, Shimotori, and Shinshigai. On weekends and holidays, special glasses that can be seen just by wearing them are available for rent.
